Originally from Europe and known for thousands of years, mint is frequently used as a flavoring in drinks and teas, an ingredient in dishes and desserts and a raw material for perfumery and dentistry.
There are dozens of species of mint, but this peppermint is the most common in aromatherapy.
Its essential oil gives off a lively, penetrating, heady aroma.

External use : 3 to 4 drops of essential oil of peppermint, applied very locally, 3 times a day, for pain of any origin. Dilute for larger areas or repeated applications.
Internal route : Peppermint essential oil can be used internally as a dietary supplement.
